Although it was yesterday, November 11, the day of origami in Japan, and, as the saying would say, Better late than never, and more if you have only spent a day in an online place where we usually, and we like, launch the most interesting creative proposals so that inspiration flows into the minds of creatives who are looking for something in which to take a base to express themselves with the his own.

This day is very special in the Japanese country, since it is where the paper and those folds have always been a symbol of peace. But as often happens, it is not the country where a discipline takes the most relevance where it was really created. Next, you will know it at the same time that you can get closer to ten spectacular works achieved with this special way of treating paper.

The ancient Japanese art of origami, in which role is the biggest protagonist, was mentioned for the first time in a poem by Siakaku back in 1680. In Europe, 100 years later, the pedagogue Friedrich Fröbel, in a nursery school for children, took several simple mathematical calculations to fold certain pieces of paper. This system was imported to Japan in 1870 and is the basis for what we now think of as modern origami.

About origami we have had several entries that have allowed us get closer to the great art of artist Eric Joisel or Hoàng himself that we also have in this series of 10 origami, which are two perfect examples of what can be achieved with this discipline. Below, you will find 10 bets that show how far you can go with a little patience, technique on paper and great creativity. Origami in all its essence for this cold Thursday in November.
