A good Christmas design has the power to make us feel as a family, at home and refer us to the warmth of home. It reminds us for a few moments of the vision we had in childhood of those kings laden with gifts, a snowy park or a fireplace lit on Christmas Eve. Christmas is one of those dates that serves as an excuse to feel small again and be a little childish, why not. In addition to all the materialistic artifice that has grown around these dates, Christmas has a very interesting function in our society and also from a psychological point of view. The family gets together as it used to be in the past, and any topic of conversation seems to sit well (maybe I'm going overboard with sentimentality, I know). I suppose that the most important function of Christmas is to disconnect for a few days from the social system that has been created in large cities and to value what really has value: family, friends and good times.
