All the Thank you, serifs, Goal attempts o terminals are small ornaments usually located at the ends of the lines of the characters typographic. They are also known by the English term as serif. The fonts Times, Georgia, Garamond y Courier are examples of type styles with this kind of cap.
The printing industry refers to sans serif typefaces as sans-serif (from French sans: "without"), or as grotesque (or, in alemán, grotesk), in any case these terms are not commonly used except in typographic jargon.
