When improving images we can choose to do it with Photoshop and then mount it on the web page or we can also choose option B: do it with the HTML, CSS and Javascript techniques that are available.

After the jump there are many techniques to improve the images, almost all of them made with jQuery as the main base or with CSS3 taking advantage of the latest web standards, although I remind you that in that case we lose compatibility with some browsers.
