The pictograms are perhaps the paradigm that perhaps took as a reference the flat trend. What I say is not as crazy as it might seem. Both concepts refer to similar values and in a very clear way: Simplicity, aesthetics and functionality. Both the pictograms and any other flat proposal, are recognizable representations in a few seconds, simple, clear, flat and very explanatory. (An example of what I say you can find in this link). Generally, we have lived with pictograms in a more aseptic, functional and logical environment, but it can also be used as an aesthetic, artistic and eye-catching resource. A good example of this is what I bring you today. A selection of more than thirty representations of famous personalities through the pictogram.
As if they had come from the entrails of Picasso himself, the flat, geometric and superimposed forms follow one another, also playing with color, line and shape. Without a doubt very inspiring sobering for many. Pure schematics, simplicity, minimalism and at the same time mathematics, technique, humor and a precise exercise of synthesis. Do you recognize all the characters that appear in this selection? Surely yes, because they are mythical characters, developed by different authors. Without further ado, I leave them below, I hope they serve as inspiration and also to give you a laugh (I could not contain some when I saw how well certain faces and characteristics of some characters were represented).
As inspiring as they are ... they must put the credits of the images.
