30 years of stories of graffiti in the cut made in a wall

Graffiti

Graffiti has gone from being an underground art to go through art galleries thanks to artists like Banksy what have they allowed bring this form of expression from the walls and walls to those corridors that are usually visited by thousands of people in various parts of the planet.

An art that is ephemeral in itself, it is not so when someone takes one of the walls of the Graffiti Hall of Fame, or called 'Doornroosje' in the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands, and cut a piece to show how graffiti has passed in 30 years behind another. A very interesting photograph for the very reason of showing the cut of time as if it were the bark of the tree that shows the age.

An Imgur user named PauldeGraaf has uploaded some pictures of his detailed analysis of a segment he took from the Graffiti Hall of Fame, or called 'Doornroosje', from the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. What began as a cult site for the hippie movement, became a center for music and art in the early 80s.

PaulDeGraaf comments how it is one of the first places where cannabis use became legal and how, today, it is a music studio and a place to find the most varied gaffitis. All the place is surrounded by walls that show different conceptions of what a graffiti is, so if at some point you pass through Holland and you like this type of urban art, it would not be bad for you to visit it.

Graffiti

The photographs taken by this user show the place and that cut of 30 years of different graffiti of various artists who passed through its streets to express their ideas and concerns through an art that has been taking its place, although some want to 'petrify' it in an art museum.
