It's not the most common thing, but from time to time some designers get encouraged by logos with negative space, and I really appreciate that because I'm a fan of these logos.
As you can see, the main characteristic is that the most important thing about the logo is not what you see at first glance but the detail of the space left by the "main" logo. In the logo that heads this post you can see a glass of wine ... but it is not the first thing that comes to mind when we see it. That's what it's all about.
Logically, to make these logos you have to be an expert, and they have double difficulty.
