With hundreds of yards of wire mesh, the artist Edoardo Tresoldi has built an interpretation of an early Christian church that once stood in its place in the present archaeological park of Siponto, Italy. Built with the assistance of Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities, the installation connects with ancient contemporary art.
The sculpture stands on the site of the old church with a ghostly presence, who it looks almost like a hologram with the lighting system they have made in said park. The installation contains architectural elements included in the stepped columns, domes and statues that stand out within the structure.
