What does it sound like to work for free in other professions?

work-free-design

One of the most annoying things for any professional whatever the field is that their work is looked down on. Unfortunately, this is already part of the day-to-day life of a graphic designer (also of all those who are part of the most creative professional area). It is a problem that we have to deal with on a daily basis and that we clearly must combat. In this regard, the Canadian agency Zulu Alpha Kilo created a small video where the ridiculousness of this fact is reflected. For this, it is proposed to workers from different sectors to develop their work for free for us and you can already imagine what the reaction of each of them is. The best of all is that the people involved in this video are not actors or actresses, they are real workers who also cannot suppress their bad mood when hearing such comments. Working for free is something that takes a lot, especially in the freelance environment or also when close people such as friends or acquaintances try to abuse your trust, but it is important that we learn to separate the personal sphere and the professional sphere.

In the end it depends on the attitude and determination of each one of us and we really come up with an idea that has become a cliché but which is really like this: If you don't value your work, no one will. I am attaching the subtitled video so that you do not overlook any details of the conversations.
