As if we were children who we take a pot of paint and we start splashing with the brush all those cans with all possible colors, a Polish artist has invaded the National Museum of his country to carry out this artistic project that cannot leave anyone indifferent because of the color that fills the corners of that great staircase.
Zacheta, the National Gallery of Art of Poland, is a place where it is combined the most modern art with the most traditional and historical. Exhibitions are usually held there, but it is the painter Leo Tarasewicz who has used the museum's grand staircase to transform it into the canvas on which he has made an entire piece of art worthy of being photographed and admired.
He has covered the gallery stairs with paint. At first, the chaotic visual appearance It can be misunderstood, but it is because Leon had a clear vision that he wanted to paint and he carefully planned everything that way.
In the first moment, painted the stairs with the primary colors (blue, red and yellow) at the top. These three colors merged in an intersection in which their colors were then combined and everything was splashed towards the main entrance, framing a statue of a gladiator that stands untouchable and in all its purity.
When all this color spectacle is viewed from the bottom, the rainbow of colors contrasts with that sculpture at the top and is capable of create a beautiful harmony between the old and the new in one of the oldest museums in Warsav to show what contemporary art is today.
There will be those who will not like it and who will, but it is, above all, good original and surprising the proposal of this Polish artist. You have more information about him from this link.
