Raising awareness about the situation that exists today with respect to the environment can become a challenge in today's times. And it is that our society, in reality, does very little to conserve and care for the environment that surrounds it. It is about the welfare society where priorities have a totally consumerist side, and although it sounds somewhat hopeless, the truth is quite harsh: Today the last thing that keeps us awake is the state of the world we have. It is true that due to the appearance of the first consequences, from the publicity they have already begun to raise awareness campaigns, many of them very good, like the one we present today and developed by the artist Serge Belo who took advantage of his passions for art to give voice to a planetary problem that affects more than 750 million people around the world, including nothing more and nothing less than 1.400 children under the age of five die every day due to causes related to these imbalances that human beings have gradually fostered in their environment.

One of the most serious problems revolves around the state of the waters of our planet, and Belo decided to work on it through a perspective that is totally in line with the philosophy of life and the message behind his speech: This includes the use of biodegradable and harmless materials for mother earth. For this he used the astonishing amount of 66.000 glasses with colored rainwater that in turn symbolize the levels of impurity found in various waters of our planet. As we can see, this composition gives us in the form of a mosaic a fetus in the womb. Of course, it has a close conceptual relationship with life and the importance of water to produce life. Even before birth a living being already needs water. This amazing work is of great importance but not only is it an indisputable work of art, but behind it hides a powerfully real message and at the same time a meticulous and quite demanding work process.

In total, 66.000 cups were used that contained wishes for a world in which lack of access is only a thing of the past, specifically 66.000 biodegradable glasses, 15.000 liters of rainwater colored with a kilo of vegetable dye and more than 100 volunteers who they worked hard through more than 62 hours of work. Awesome!
