If we look closely at the world of technology, more specifically what is called “smart”, right now there is a trend closely related to virtual assistance that uses voice commands to be able to interact in the man-machine style that we have seen in many Hollywood films.
This ability to interact with an assistant through voice commands is the source of inspiration that has served Adobe to present the first steps of a technology that aims to with your voice you are able to edit Photographs. The idea is to present it in the immediate future for mobile design apps.
Adobe just published a concept video in which an iPad user is seen making simple edits to their photos through voice commands.
The technology shown is not really impressive as one can perform the same task with taps on the touch screen, although it is assumed that, if Adobe is able to improve it, it will be able to give greater results in the immediate future for those simple touch-ups that we usually do on a smartphone.
If one takes account, in the end we are applying vintage filters, cropping the image in an X format or modifying saturation, brightness or tone values among many others.
Adobe has made it clear that these are the first steps towards a robust voice-based multimode interface that will allow creatives to find and edit images quickly. No plans have been confirmed to deploy it this year, so we will have to wait for more official news.
This way of interacting can serve very well for basic tasks such as opening a document, closing it, applying an X automation, or switching between a tool. Possibly when voice recognition technology improves, we will surely see it in the heaviest desktop apps, since at the moment it is directed to Adobe mobile apps how are you so many.
