Affinity Designer finally comes to Windows with a public beta

Affinity

Affinity Designer is a design program that we have talked about several times and that comes to be a great alternative to Adobe Illustrator. We already spoke at the time about some of their reasons to try and compete against the quintessential program for graphic design. The only handicap is that it was not available for Windows and was exclusive to Apple iMac.

But this has changed since today when Affinity Designer public beta released in Windows so that anyone can see why this design program has received several awards and has managed to rise as an interesting alternative to what Illustrator itself is. A program that is paid, but while it is in the public beta phase will remain free for anyone to try.

Affinity Designer received the Design Award in 2015 for its aesthetics by Apple and has everything you would expect from a professional-level design program. The only thing you should know is that it does not have all its final characteristics in the beta version, although you will have a very good idea of what you can find when it is in its final version for Windows.

It is superior to Illustrator by far. It's fast, the tools have the ease of use of CorelDraw and its interface is highly polished, handling memory management perfectly. Exports are much more intuitive than Illustrator's behemoth. More than recommended.
