This pencil drawing is just amazing the degree of realism achieved. The artist calls himself "Artmoron" and we could not find his website. Although we do share some photographs of his pencil work to continue to amaze us by the use of chiaroscuro.
Artmoron has drawn a from the doors of the Milan Cathedral. We will see a real photograph of that door so that you can compare where the differences are, since the degree of realism achieved is overwhelming when we look for the differences.
And we can really tell that it is a drawing when we see part of the development, since in the final sheet It almost looks more like a photograph of that door than a drawing worked by an artist like Artmoron.
It is incredible the degree of work in the shadows to find chromatic values very well achieved and that result in endless grays and blacks, which allows to play with the volume of the bodies and all those figures that emerge from the bronze door.
A job that is practically a great study on lighting and how it should work. We will not reach such a degree of excellence if we get down to work, but it is a model to study and see the great difference that can exist in looking for those lighter grays and those darker ones.
Artmoron also knows how to give the tone of black enough to pin down the depth and highlight those well-defined spaces. A work to highlight and place among those very striking that pass through these lines. If we knew the name of your Instagram or Facebook account, we would share it, so we leave it anonymous to the artist behind this work.
Don't miss these hyper-realistic works in pencil or charcoal that are not far behind.
