Animated Mock Ups: A New Way to Present Our Work

animated mock-ups4

What's going on with the Mock Ups lately is somewhat surprising. They have become a kind of "fashion" in graphic design and are used in a massive way, by all or the vast majority of creatives. It is very very rare that we take a look at a portfolio of a moderately professional designer and not a single Mockup appears to present the work done. This is good, because as we have seen in other moments, these alternatives can provide us with a certain presence, professionalism and elegance. But we also have to see the other side of the coin. We must learn to analyze the global set of our work (be it our portfolio, our design or whatever). I have seen many pages that are infested with Mockups, any excuse is good to use one ... and this is counterproductive. Thus they come to look like a market of graphic resources (with all due respect to the markets) instead of a portfolio or the website of a professional.

But hey, this already more or less falls within the style and vision of each one, what I came to teach you today, Sunday, January XNUMX, is the new option for presenting projects: Animated or dynamic mock ups (in GIF format). They are a tremendously useful way to present prototypes, web pages, and more. They will inevitably attract the attention of the receiver and on the other hand, they will serve (why not) to stand out from that large number of portfolios with static mockups. It is clear that what is important is the work we present and its quality, but the way we make it known also says a lot about us.

Would you like to learn how to create your own dynamic mock-ups from Adobe Photoshop? Share this article and we will make a video tutorial on that. If there are more than 70 shares I make a video tutorial about it. Here are some very attractive examples:
