This piece is very personal, explains the artist. I have been working with seniors with memory loss and their caregivers. It is so intense, and enough to be a caregiver. When you care for a loved one, the two of you are intertwined. The user takes their vulnerabilities, but also their strengths. While thinking about that relationship, it is important for these ways to be tied together in some way.

Anne mondro received his BFA from the Detroit College of Creative Studies, and completed his master's degree from Kent State University before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to pursue a career as artist y teacher from the University of Michigan.

His work explores the physical and emotional complexity of the human body. The integration of traditional crafts, fine arts, and digital technology, creating images and sculptures that investigate humanity.

Mondro has shown his creative work at various national exhibitions, including 'The Edges of Grace: Provocative, Uncommon Craft'. Uncommon in the Fuller Craft Museum, and 'Life Insight: The Human'.

His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, ARC Gallery of Chicago, International Museum of Surgical Sciences, PIU Gallery in Sao Paulo, and Ceres Gallery in New York. Here is a gallery of pictures.
