After finding the tutorial to create the Superman comic cover, I have come across this great resource, a pack of vectorized comic-like onomatopoeia.

Surely you have seen them hundreds of times in comics and even in cartoon series when they hit or when there was an explosion.

They are very typical of series like Batman and Robin in the 60s.

The pack contains the vectors that you see in the image above both in EPS format and also a JPG for the preview.
