La photo manipulation through a program as Adobe Photoshop depends more on our imagination and creativity than the limits of this great tool; By the way has won an Oscar this year.
Thomas Subtil has created a series of photographys in which he has used Photoshop to create captures that are simply impossible in the real world, but that show what that moment could be like when no human is observing the behavior of an animal.
It was at 2013 when the artist traveled to Kenya when he discovered a different and totally wonderful world. A world created by Subtil in which an elephant is able to stand between two trees, or where giraffes wash their clothes.
This French artist has turned the background from a continent as incredible as Africa in an unreal world in which animals are the protagonists.
Subtil has also created a series of retouched photographs called Animetro, in which he imagines wild animals on their journey through the underground of a city. It is in those same wagons or tracks where you can find to those wild animals roaming around as if they were people.
The curious thing about the name of the series that stars wild animals in Africa is that he has called them as "The real life of wild animals in Africa". As if to imply that when we turn our backs on them, they take on very different characters from the ones we know.
