¿Who does not relate ET to Steven Spielberg when you see the iconic alien saying "phone, my house", or George Lucas with any of the Star Wars characters, when the words "use force" come out of Luke SkyWalker's mouth? There are many film directors who are linked to the most iconic fictional characters in their films.
This is why Mike Leavitt has had the great idea of merging those film directors with their most iconic characters. A curious way to show those Steven Spielberg, Haya Miyazaki, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock or Quentin Tarantino among many others that we are going to know in their most strange and surprising way.
What Leavitt has done is take the most identifying features of the characters of some of the films of these directors to conform to the body and leave the head intact. For example, Steven Spielberg is made up of ET's body, the claws from Jurassic Park, the medallion on his Indiana Jones hat, and the slippers from Back to the Future.
So it is with the rest of directors so let's go to them with the most identifying features. You have the artist's website.
