IBM patents a watch that turns into a tablet

Clock

Could be quite a surprise that IBM returned to devices with a watch to become a table and thus become the folding device of the future. And just when other brands such as Samsung and Huawei are pushing very hard for these types of products.

I mean, we talk about that watch that you wear on your wrist could become a screen with a tablet format as if we were facing a whole futuristic movie. This is precisely the patent that IBM has registered to everyone's surprise.

If we already have the Samsung Galaxy Fold, and that precisely already has its redesign after the problems happened with the press version, IBM has in its hands what would be another step with a smartwatch that would become a whole table.

IBM Clock

IBM refers to that device as a resizable screen for a d devicee electronic display. What is a screen that can be expanded or reduced according to our needs. Even in the patent it can be seen that the device would be able to work at the same time with one, four or even eight connected screens.

Who wouldn't like to have a small smartwatch that would expand into a mid-size tablet? Well, many. Each screen measures 5 x 10 centimeters and that at its maximum size it could reach 60 x 40 centimeters. Not bad, don't you think?

Moment seems more like a crazy idea that is yet to come that a reality that we can "touch." Being a better patent that we leave it in that space where it could reach the market or merely stay in another of those imagined but not real patents. We'll see what happens, but if it's patented by IBM, we can expect everything from this great company.
