For these last 25 years there is a window in Adobe Photoshop that has remained in time immovable, precisely that of "new document" and that opens the way to all those creations, retouching and other productions that we have been able to make in this great design tool.
But it is in Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 where this has changed to the surprise of many who were used to this window. There are many who are openly criticizing Adobe for the renewal of this window, and more when it has been consistent and functional, but like everything in life it needs to be renewed. That is why, if you don't like the new window, there is a way to recover the old one.
How would you say, If it is not broke, do not fix it. This rule that is used for many things in life, has finally not served for the guys at Adobe to update this "open document" window. You can see the new window below:
An interface with more elements and that will need a while until you get used to it as happened with that password that that window has been for the past 25 years. And it is that in that new window the important elements have taken a secondary role.
If you want to go back to the old interface or window, just go to preferences in the general tab on the left. From there, you can find on the right an option called «Use Legacy «New Document Interface»That you must deactivate in order to get back to having that of a lifetime, almost as one might say.
