Scale changes our perception of the world. It is shocking to discover unimagined shapes behind everything we see. If someone tells you that salt is square at first, you might be surprised, right? So it is with most things around us. If we decide to approach the microworld, we find imminent disintegration, the dissection of our most immediate reality into fragments and simple forms that in turn disintegrate into more simple fragments. It is absolute science, but what if we decide to immortalize this dimension of our world? Can it become art and tell us something that comes out of comparative and scientific analysis? What is clear is that it will lead us to a mandatory reflection and will awaken the curiosity of anyone who sees these microscopic photographs.
Then I leave you with some examples of this type of photography. I am sure you will find it tremendously inspiring and will force you imminently to observe and revisit our world from a new and different perspective.
