Numinous, ethereal, sacred, sublime. These are some of the words that hit us when we look at this series of photographs that the photographer gives us Katerina Plotnikova. It is a unique project that takes natural photography to a terrain never explored, creating a communion between the animal and human species. A kind of intimate and tender environment that relativizes the term wild and amalgamates all its protagonists under a common mantle: The feeling of brotherhood, union and affection.
In all the snapshots a female character appears present. Women who They stand out for their vulnerability, their delicacy, but at the same time they are calm, at peace. What could turn into a bad omen meeting between wild creatures and these young maidens, ends up turning into a sweet portrait that inevitably turns us into witnesses of a beautiful, green and transcendental winter story.
It leads us to ask ourselves questions like… To what extent can these animals be wild? To what extent can they pose a threat to humans?? And of course the eternal dilemma: Do animal beings have feelings or possibilities of feeling love for any other being? In line with this, I would like to recommend a documentary called Earthlings and that it made me personally change drastically the concept of animal and also that of being human.

Obviously, this project was carried out with professionals specialized in dealing with animals to ensure that no one suffered any type of accident. The animals did not suffer any kind of damage, of course, who immediately approached the team with curiosity and great peace. Amazing, right?
Simply beautiful
