Martin de Pasquale is perhaps one of the best today using Adobe Photoshop. His work is characterized by developing daily scenes and acts with circumstances and aesthetics that break with tranquility and are manifested under the cloak of surrealism. The artist claims that his works are the "graphic expression of a crooked mind." He is fascinated by everyday challenges and the essence of his photographs is to visualize what is physically impossible through photographic manipulation. He says the inspiration came from artists like Japanese illusion designer Shigeo Fukuda, Polish satirical illustrator Pawel Kuczynski, and Erik Johansson's photomanipulations. It reminds me personally of Heilemann, especially from a conceptual point of view and because of the violent and twisted of many of his veiled messages. Martín De Pasquale always used technology to materialize the impossible: «I started using my photographs to tell stories, surreal words, and I began to manipulate them with Photoshop. Nobody told me how to do it, I just did it.
Surely many of you already know him because many of his works have become virtual viruses and have also appeared in large-scale media such as Mediaset, the British newspaper The Telegraph or the New York Daily News. Then I leave you with a selection of his work, although you can see the rest of his fantastic creations from his profile on Behance by clicking here.
Creative excellence, a source of inspiration and a challenge to conquer new goals, my regards
