Metallic text with Photoshop [Tutorial]

Metallic typography tutorial

Today I bring you a simple tutorial to perform with Photoshop but not because it is simple, you will get less spectacular results, I assure you.

With this tutorial you will learn how to perform a metallic text, that is, simulating that it is made of metal and apply the light just at half past twelve, that is, from the center up almost in a straight line.

When I read this tutorial I found it great for those of you who are starting to use Adobe Photoshop or are downstream users since with him you will learn various tools and techniques but without much difficulty.

The tutorial is divided into several steps so that it costs you less to follow and is illustrated with screenshots to which they have added explanatory captions and arrows and also each step has an explanatory text, so you should not have no problem to follow it.

For those of you who prefer to read it in Spanish, I remind you that you can use the Google translator to see the texts of the page in Spanish.

I think the source link is wrong, right?

It leads to an explanation of the inner shadows layer effects but not the post image effect.

If the link leads to several explanations that do not correspond to what was announced.

What a good contribution Gema, I really liked the tutorial is everything
very illustrated step by step, very interesting what the Angle does that allows us to change the
angle of the light source coming from, it is very noticeable
    changing this. thanks greetings
