Rapunzel in oil by Aaron Miller

Rapunzel

We have recently been before a work of Tithi Luadthong which has a special emphasis on warm and earthy colors, and that also comes from another artist that we had at the beginning of the month with Yanjun cheng, in which we can continue to find a fabulous color treatment and technique.

For this reason, when finding this Aaron Miller oil painting called Rapunzel, I could not contain myself to share it from these lines with all of you. Another sunset, but in which yellow takes center stage both in the golden and almost infinite hair of the protagonist and in that horizon line that disappears as it mixes with the landscape.

Rapunzel is a fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm collection. A story of those magic in which Rapunzel manages with her tears to recover the sight of the handsome prince, lost when he fell on some thorns when he tried to climb the tower where his beloved was.

Rapunzel

That Rapunzel appears in this Miller play with a very pretty pose and blond hair through which it seems that the light passes through it, playing with the tones that are very identical to that sun that falls almost reaching its sunset.

A high quality oil painting that takes us to a fairy tale in which Miller has managed to find the right key to show delicacy in pose as if he was looking at his prince lost in the swamp after falling on the thorns.

Aaron Miller sells prints of this work from Inprnt at a price of 20 dollars the 8 x 12 poster. It has another good amount of work in which he evades all kinds of creatures and fairy tale princesses with a great quality in each one of them. A painter to follow.
