The kings of color dare with everything And now they have launched a board game that can not only be used for designers, but also for any member of the family who wants to have a good time with a very original game.
And if you are one of those designers who have Pantone As your watchword, having your game is sure to become something special. Pantone: The Game has been released by Cryptozoic Entertainment and game designer Scott Rogers.
The board game is endorsed by Pantone and practically puts you before a player who has to choose a card character. You should then try to create a representation of that character using a selection of Pantone trading cards. There will be a choice of 15 in total.
The other players take their turns to try guess who the character is. If no one is able to guess, you can ask for clues to try to find out who the character is. A Pantone board game that not only wants designers, but anyone who wants to have a good time with that good amount of colors to try to make others guess a character.
As far as we know, it can be played up to 20 people at the same time and we would be facing one of those perfect gifts for a friend that we know who loves design or is professionally dedicated to any branch related to it.
The idea is that with the shape of the cards and their colors we are able to reproduce the image of one of those characters, such as Abraham Lincoln. Not that it's very intuitive, but if you get the hang of it it can be quite fun; although we will need to take a little imagination to guess. Without a doubt, it will be the clues that will get us out of doubt.
Pantone's board game is available on Amazon for about $ 30. It will be available soon for European lands.
