Pixar won't create any more sequels after Incredibles 2

Pixar

The truth that Pixar has been nonstop from working on sequels for some of his most famous animated films. The Emmerville animation studio almost holds the record for the number of them released in recent years, but everything looks set to change from now on.

Jim Morris, president of Pixar, has confirmed that there are no plans to bring the aftermath of Ratatouille, Up, Wall-e and the other way around. In fact, apart from the announced sequels that will hit the big screen, Pixar is currently developing original ideas, precisely four films that are not related to any of the previous Pixar franchises.

Jim Morris declared days ago that everything that is going to be released after Toy Story and The Incredibles it is an original story. Make it clear that we are talking about a study that has a development schedule for five or six years from now, which means that Morris is talking about the next few years.

Cars 3 will arrive on June 16, 2017, Toy Story 4 will be released on June 15, 2018 and The Incredibles II will land on June 21, 2019. Disney has two unnamed Pixar titles set for release on March 13, 2020 and June 19 of the same year, both will be original stories. Morris warns that these two films will take place in believable but not at all usual worlds that will lead audiences in other directions.

Pixar's idea has been brand new every year both an original story and a sequel, which happens that that goal was proposed to get to produce two tapes each year. And that has some movies like Inside Out that are perfect to launch a sequel, which happens that we will have to wait a few years so that we can play sadness and joy together again.

We also have this year to Moana.
