Sculptures on dry tree branches that will leave you speechless

Debra

As if the elves or the gnomes took this real world and at times so cruel, the dry branches of those trees, with great care and treatment, can be turn into artistic works. It can be shocking, but we are no longer able to imagine what canvases or raw materials will be used for the next publication that we comment on the ingenuity of an artist.

Debra Bernier is an extraordinary artist from Canada and uses materials as natural as tree branches, clay and shells to create sculptures that will simply leave you speechless. These intricate pieces represent the spirits of nature that have been represented by various cultures in which the planet was more important than the one we give ourselves in this western world.

Each piece made in these branches is already a sculpture in itself, as the artist herself indicates, since it has been sculpted by time, waves or wind. The wood tells a story and she interprets the shape of those branches to extend them and create those beautiful sculptures that you can see in these shared images.

The sculptor is inspired by her love of what is to her holiest in this world: children, animals and nature. The finished pieces are a reflection of not only my life, my family and children, but also a sacred, eternal and mystical connection that we all share with nature.

Sculpture

Debra fell in love with the beach and nature since her childhood and is very happy and proud that she was able to share this love and its art with everybody. The little girl who lives in it is still fascinated by the shapes of the wood, the sun falling in the afternoon on the horizon line or those gray stones with their varied textures.

You have your Etsy to know the pieces it sells. One moment for this other sculptor that looks like it works with wood.
