A mockup is a template in which the designs that are made are placed. But it differs from others in that realistic objects are used. For example, if they ask you for the design of a pen, instead of giving them an image to see, what you present them with is a pen with that design already embedded. And a t-shirt mockup? Well, the same thing, t-shirts are used, well folded, well exposed, or even put on people, so that the client can see how the design you have created would look on that t-shirt and get an idea of how it can be in reality.
