tilen you he does not believe in still life. His representations of Singapore defy reality, delivered in colors that are perceived more than seen. Vividly awash in shades of all imaginable colors, their watercolors cunningly turn into strange places, the most extravagant versions of themselves.
Born in Raub, Pahang, Malaysia in 1969, he attended the Saito Art Academy in Petaling Jaya, where he graduated in 1992. Three years after moving to Singapore for work, he began painting as a self-taught in 2009, participating in a portrait exhibition in 'Fort Canning Gallery' in 2011, and 'The Book Show' at Sculpture Square as part of his illustration work. His first solo exhibition was exhibited in Singapore, and was held at L'Etoile Café
