This color born from the mixture of blue and red and the intensity of this will depend on the degree of aggregation that is made of one color or another. The violet color basically represents the mystical and the melancholic. Many designers and art specialists have associated violet as a color that represents the introverted personality, silence and calm.

If we enter the scientific field, violet is one of the colors with the shortest wavelength, that is, we can find it at the end of the visible spectrum. These waves are perceived by the human eye, but when the waves exceed what the eye can see they are called "ultraviolet". Moreover, in purple It is the mixture of blue and red, but it is considered a light purple. That is why it is not taken into account within many color circles, since it is a violet with a lower tonality.

Violet is cataloged with two personality characteristics

Firstly, violet is considered a sweet color because it contains red. Likewise, the violet color is also considered an enigmatic color thanks to its blue color. As for the representations, the violet color has been used in religion, since it represents dogma and penance through it. Also, they take it as the color of meditation.

The color violet is closely associated with the mind and therefore it is mixed with wisdom and recollection. Despite all these fabulous characteristics, violet has some negatives, as it is considered a color related to outrage, selfishness and loneliness.

Also, purple can be assumed as the righteous power, the balance of life force, wisdom, and spiritual force.

Violet many times is associated with coldness and is considered dominant, royal, lavish, dignified and proud. Some use violet to represent resignation, indecision, melancholy, the fading of human stimulation. The Catholic Church uses violet a lot  and it is especially representative during Holy Week.

In Lent, in the vigils, Advent in prayers and in the four times within the Catholic Church it can be observed how violet is present. Even purple is used for the cassock of bishops and cardinals.
