We are used to a series of photographs that put us before amazing shots of nature and the wildlife that inhabits them. National Geographic is one of the magazines par excellence for this reason, as a serious publication in which space is rarely left to show that wild nature in a more fun and close way.
Always showing the wildest and most violent side, the most heartbreaking photos tend to be the ones that draw the most attention, now they have been chosen to the winning photographs of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. Nail shots of professional photographers who had that moment to photograph different animals in funny moments of them.
With more than 3.500 entries from 86 countries from around the world, the 2017 winners have been announced. There are five categories chosen: on land, under sea, in the air, portfolio category and overall winner. The prizes are a THINK TANK camera bag, a Wonder Workshop trophy from Tanzania, a certificate and the recognition that the image has been able to draw a smile in whoever looks at the capture.
Among those photos we can find funny monkeys on a motorcycle even a fox looking for a "bathroom" on a golf course.
The surprise-faced and playful walruses, even a hare with its mouth full of grass staring at the photographer with astonished eyes.
We even have wildebeest perched on top of othersUnless it is the effect of the photograph, or a polar bear with its baby on its back as if it were hiding.
Nor have they forgotten those intimate moments of two bears like some funny rodent on a flower in the field.
