With a keen sense of humor and excellent control of a spray can, the Swiss artist Rowing Lienhard (also know as Wes21) encompasses the walls with canvases about science fiction and the natural world. The artist imagines a ladybug in his hybrid spaceship, as explosions in the sky and a pair of lighthouses in the air reveal themselves as the bodies of a sinister-looking squid. Lienhard works on a variety of media parts of acrylic, spraying on tarps, and the larger murals that often make use of the objects around it.
Wes21 skillfully integrates both boobs and reality, and takes it to levels not seen before. Wes21, or Remo Lienhard, is an artist from graffiti who was born in Biel, Switzerland, in May 1989. His artistic endeavors began in 2001 when he became interested in painting. Several years later, in 2009, Wes21 attended design school, to become a graphic designer. This led Wes21 to become a freelance illustrator / designer, participation in projects such as large-scale murals, canvases and 3D sculptures, to add an unpredictable side to what is normally expected of graffiti artists.
As a member of Schwarzmaler, a collective of prominent graffiti writers, street artists, and illustrators, Wes21 stands out from the crowd by successfully capturing a moment, be it real or imagined. His detailed works are certainly impressive on nature, taking us to an incredible artistic world.
