Several days ago I made a review of three painters who have a point in common: photorealism. Three oil painters who have shown in these past decades their great technical quality to leave us astonished with each of their paintings in which each of them has a point of genius gorgeous.
Now we have Mike Dargas, a painter who also applies excellently in photorealism and in his works we can find a distinctive feature to others. Dargas uses these liquids to show us the quality of his works and how he can be elevated as a great contemporary artist.
A German painter who uses a fascinating technique and is well known for his portraits. Born in 1983 and interested in painting from a very early age, in his 20s he began to become known for his tattoos and on which he has been working for 14 years.
Mike know inspired by classics like Dalí, Caravaggio and HR Giger to focus on both surrealism and realism.
Now it takes care of huge paintings in which photorealism is the common denominator. As you can see in his works, he has a great technique and it is in those paintings in which a face appears with a spilled liquid, where we can find the years of studies that this painter treasures in his hand and experience.
The work you do on the reflections of those falling liquids by the face of the model it is simply sublime and denotes the wisdom in the matter of painting that Dargas possesses.
