Maybe Rob Gonsalves do not have a great technical quality compared to great geniuses of painting, but his ideas and concept overwhelm the viewer's gaze with certain perspectives and the union of what is a landscape with what is the appearance of a series of people who manage to confuse those who observe his works.
An artistic work to highlight and that sends us certain messages that have to do with the impact that man's hand has had on the landscape that surrounds us, which has always been inhabited by nature itself. His paintings fall under what is called magical realism and Dalí is one of the geniuses who have served as his inspiration.
Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian painter totally influenced by Dalí and in his work aims to combine in an image what is reality and imagination. In this way of finding a point of union that has its effect on the viewer's gaze, we find Gonsalves's play on the idea of size and perspective.
