Elliana esquivel is a 19-year-old girl, a illustrator who lives in North Carolina, United States. She has been drawing since she was in diapers, and her art consists of cryptic ink drawings summarizing some observation or idea about life, almost always based on personal experiences.
"Oh all kinds of things inspire me," explains Esquivel, "Everything from patterns in architecture, in life, the way certain things break, how do colors blend and snap together under shadows or spray through the light. Also, the people, their gestures, their sounds, the form of the sentences themselves, and how they are used.
In his illustrations he shows ways of seeing the world, especially people. As for example in the featured image, being able to prefer to connect your smartphone when talking to a person. One illustration that I really liked is one that opens the chest and flows, and says «A woman is an island», "A woman is an island", where it has several meanings depending on the person who observes it.
