Surely that in part of the imagination of many Star Wars fans has happened in some moments how will those ships be inside and how they would be constituted so that they could travel at the speed of light or avoid all kinds of attacks from the Empire when they rotate in that special way in some of the most spectacular cinematics of some of the films of this mythical franchise.
Hans Jenssen has been working as a technical illustrator for decades and shows the interior structures of complex vehicles and buildings. Jenssen is best known for his Star Wars series, in which he makes replicas of Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, Luke Skywalker's X-wing, and some of the most distinctive ships from the film series created by George Lucas and now owned by Walt Disney.
This work took him ten years and in it you can see the meticulous talent and technique required to make any of those pieces that make up a spectacular series.
It is also incredible that these artistic works have been made entirely by hand.
Es on your own website where it shows the creative process step by step. Firstly, sketches the ship in pencil on a grid before going on to paint them layer by layer and thus gradually create the texture and contrast.
The entire process, based on techniques he studied in the 80s, can take about 15 hours a day.
Explain what there is a logic in every illustration to create a system or component for each vehicle function and link them with cables, power sources, cooling, or whatever will be compelling enough.
A job simply spectacular as you can see in the images that we share here. You have his website to follow his work and the rest of the pieces that make up this incredible series.
