What's new in Illustrator CC 2017

Illustrator CC 2017

Yesterday we told you what's new in Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 which include the new interface of new document. One of the most surprising changes when the old interface had been with us for decades. Adobe thought it was the best time for it, so move on.

Illustrator CC 2017 has also received news for a complete change in some ways. The new interface is flat and modern with additional controls for adjusting the color, offering a clearer choice, making it easier on your eyes when you work. In the long run it will ensure that you can spend more hours in front of the monitor.

Like Photoshop, some of the updates are in the details. A few features that focus on ease of use and productivity. Some of those improvements have to do with the ability to fill objects by default with lorem ipsum text.

Import text into a shape or path it is also supported as well, which makes it easier to include text in Illustrator. Font selection has become a bit easier in this version. When you have one selected and you float over a different font within the font menu, you can get a real-time preview in the same document.

Illustrator also now has more intuitive features that give the ability to create pixel art works they look great all the time. There are options for pixel alignment and a pixel grid that can be seen when zoomed to 600%. It is of great help when creating works that will be presented on screen. Illustrator is well known in the print industry, but is occasionally used by web, mobile, and UI designers, so it's a handy feature for precision work.

Finally, the "Zoom to selection" feature allows Illustrator to zoom directly to a selected item. Perfect when you have to work on complex illustrations or documents that contain many different components.
