Madoz he is famous when he talks about the purpose of his paintings:
The fact is, I don't know how they'll react or what's going to provoke the viewer, Madoz said. I look for images that move and fill me, that make me feel that I am doing something different. I want to be able to be in front of my photos and feel that I can communicate with them. If an image says something to me, I feel sure that there may be other people who are going to experience the same thing, or something similar.
Chema Madoz only works your photos only in White and Black as a means of oppose the ying and yang of the elements he photographs. Elements that take on a surreal and minimalist drama whose only choice to be shown to the world is in Black and White.
I use black and white for various reasons. The First is an exercise in reduction, since you limit the color to two opposing options, something that also happens with objects (in general they are two opposing objects). And on the other hand, it makes it easier to play with textures when establishing links or connections.
