Embroider rackets instead of practicing with them, Danielle clough use thick yarn to create multi-colored images of aloe and other species of the fauna in the tennis racquets. The strings of the rackets act as your loom. Recently the Cape Town-based artist and designer was commissioned by 'Vans' to embroider four pairs of shoes, a task that has led her to decorate it with kiwis and pears, Pussy Riot, and a rat. As a photographer, designer, and embroiderer, Danielle clough has lived a life forever linked to design. She was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Clough completed his studies of art direction and graphic design in the he 'Red and Yellow School', before embarking on a career in visual arts and digital design.
His combined interest in visual art, music and the South African street culture scene, where he led to an experimental period turned into concerts, with the creation of visual effects for live music events. Using your fiancé's stage name KnowlesDee has performed with local DJ artists such as Haezer, PH Fat, Los Tacos, Amy Ayanda, and at international acts such as Allah Las, Apashe, Cid Rim, The Black Lips and Black Sun Empire. She has set up many music festivals that you've probably never heard of.
Dee is doing the work of digital design for local businesses (Media24, Mama Money), erotic creations, emojis, and sewing for pets. What's more has lent his voice on local radio shows (Assembly Radio, Bush Radio).
