Unicode Consortium has announced the final list of 230 new emojis and that will reach the main platforms by the end of this year. The new emojis have the objective of better representing more people with disabilities, as well as many others that we are going to show you.
Included in that list of 230 new emojis to all types of romantic relationships and a greater range of skin tones. An update that does not want to leave anyone behind because of their gender or condition and that is open to all people on this planet.
The update is Unicode 12.0 and it is precisely the sixth major release to date. A series of graphics that express all kinds of emotions and people that thanks to the huge expansion of smartphones have made hundreds of millions of users find them vital to their day to day.
Now, communication through a chat could not be understood without these emojis and that in these years they have been updated with a great multitude of variations so that no one is left out. In the announced update today there are 59 new individual emojis, but with 171 variations by gender and skin tone.
So in total we can choose among 230 different options.
