Two quality photo printers

Nowadays it is essential to have a good printer if we work with photographic images in our designs or we want to print our digital photographs in good quality avoiding going to a laboratory to be developed and removed on paper. Next I want to contribute two printers and some of its characteristics, one of a large format and the other of a small format, each one aimed at a different type of audience but both of great quality.

Epson Stylus Pro 3880

We are facing a good large format printer which prints borderless from A6 to A2.

Its inks use the latest technology Ultra Chrome K3 with Vivid Magenta, an ink system with 8 different colors that enhances the intensity of violets and blues to expand the color range.

It has a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1440 DPI and ensures a lightfastness of black and white photos for up to 200 years. Different types of black ink can be chosen depending on the finish and the paper to be used. Each cartridge can print about 50 copies, a large number compared to other models with these characteristics.

It also has a system of paper feed triple, that is, there are three different ways to load the paper depending on the type: automatic feed tray, rear manual feeder for art paper, and front manual feeder for rigid supports.

Canon Selphy CP800

We are facing a photo printer specialized of small format It fits on any desk due to its small size so it is easy to transport, and it also has a small 2,5-inch screen where we can make small basic adjustments. The maximum format that can be printed is that of a postcard. The quality of its inks responds to about 100 years of life, and each cartridge holds about 36 copies.

In addition, this model applies a protective layer to the photographs that protects them from stains and splashes.
