Uber launches new logo with the focus on simplicity and with a slight weight in the source. In other words, the letters of the American brand are clearer and represent the mobility that this brand entails in terms of its driver service and food delivery.
Uber currently operates in 660 cities around the globe. The idea of this logo redesign is to represent, what they call a global brand where teams move on the ground to be able to locate relevant content, in this case it would be the passengers, to their audiences.
You always have to start from the inspiring base of what a brand is. Which are their inspirations, their ideas, their focuses, where they come from and where they are going. Try to represent in a series of words what the company means and from there begin to reflect it in your own design.
La Uber's own evolution towards other directionsAs with Uber Eats, it reflects that change made in the new logo; that is not far from the previous one. But it does make clear all that has been said in regards to a brand and company that is in the trigger in many parts of the planet.
As well typography takes more consonance used to show that it does not take strange designs or accentuated nuances to give a change that reflects what the company is itself. That clear Uber typography perfectly reflects the ideals and where this company based on mobile apps is heading.
