Good companions! In today's video tutorial I bring you a very simple method to apply digital makeup to our characters through the Adobe Photoshop application. The procedure is developed through basic tools and options so you will have no problem applying it if you are a beginner user.
The guide steps for this exercise are as follows, There it goes!
- If the photo that we are going to retouch has defects or our character has defects on the skin such as spots, pimples or wrinkles, we can use the tools of Spot Healing Brush or Clone Stamp, although in this case it is not necessary.
- We will paint the area of the lips creating a new layer in which we will apply the color. In this case we will put a strong red color (which you can find with the 830404 code). We will apply a blending mode to Color Burn and an opacity of 61%.
- We will apply a Gaussian blur filter in the menu Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur. We will lower the opacity if necessary.
- To apply a realistic makeup base, we will create a new layer that we will tint with the brush tool of a considerable size and a flesh color (ccode effcc99). We will give it an opacity of 80%.
- We will work on the eye line with a black and quite fine brush. We will follow the pattern of the eyelids and apply a blending mode in soft light.
- To apply the eyeshadows we will follow the same procedure. One layer for each shade. Always applying a blending mode in soft light and applying the Gaussian blur effect if necessary.
