A wine packaging emulating a subway map

organic red wine

Once again the creativity of the human being is put on the table, this time through the creation of a wine packaging that suggests the plan of the subway stations and that evokes the special moments in which you can enjoy a good wine in the company of friends.

"8 tickets" is the name of the organic wine that is complemented with this packaging so innovative.

This original design is called "8 tickets"

the creation of a wine packaging that suggests the map of the metro stations

Always aiming to break the barriers of the traditional and giving a modern touch to the consumption of Bodegas Vihucas wine, I create this modern packaging concept that shows a subway map that instead of having the name of the different stations shows us a series of moments and contexts in the middle of which enjoy a good wine and with an added value on the back of the bottle, some stickers that will allow us to remember that special moment.

This winery seeks with its new packaging, that its wine represents for the person something more than drinking a good glass of wine, joining to this action the experience of playing while having fun and in this way, surely wanting to repeat the pleasant experience.

Why 8 Tickets?

8 tickets equals 8 ideal situations that show how a good wine is paired with moments of our daily life And that it does not have to be boring or subject to the circumstances that we already know, especially in Spain where consumption is traditional, especially in older people.

On the contrary, it is a versatile product that fits very well in the youth population and it is the one they seek to approach with this original packaging. Surely there will be much more than 8 occasions to drink it and that will surely be discovered by customers when they open their mind and palate to this organic wine.

The idea of the map is to take the consumer along various routes where they have the opportunity to change course at the time they prefer, and there are so many opportunities to really sit down and taste a good glass of wine and there are so many ways to share it with friends and loved ones, that these types of initiatives that motivate the palate are appreciated beyond the experts and experts in oenology, which are increasingly abundant.

But why a subway map? Because seeing it excites you, creating a new bottle thanks to the design.

The design of this original wine packaging, was in the hands of Mani Diseño Estratégico, a well-known Spanish design and innovation consultancy and the winery's project was recognized with the bronze award at the A Design Awards.

Vihucas Winery, for its part, is a family-owned company located in Toledo whose objective is the manufacture of ecological wines of great variety and whose experience has already more than 40 years.

The cultivation of grapes is 100 ecological% and it comes from the region of La Mancha.

Finally, with this example we have seen everything that an innovation process is capable of achieving in a product, in this case, promoting a 100% organic wine through an innovative packaging.
