500-BOOKS-DESIGNERS-graphics

Today is a great day for everyone in which we celebrate one of the most sublime communication phenomena in universal history: The book. And is that today's date, April 23, was chosen as International Book Day because curiously it coincides with the death of three great monsters in the history of literature. Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare and the great Inca Garcilaso de la Vega on the same date in the year 1616. They did not really coincide on the same day but on the date. Cervantes died around April 22, although he was buried on April 23, and Shakespeare died on April 23, but on the Julian calendar. In the Gregorian calendar it corresponds to May 3. On the occasion of this curious coincidence, the International Union of Publishers finally awarded this day to the Book and by extension to literature in order to promote culture, a love for good letters and respect for great works.
