A little over a month ago we had a simply spectacular week in which Adobe was launching high-quality apps and services left and right. Apart from those mobile apps, it also showed part of some of the most interesting projects, such as that Photoshop-style program but what is audio for.

But not only is it here, but now it has a amazing new app for graphic designers: Project Felix. An app that is available to Creative Cloud subscribers for download today, so if you're reading these lines, it's already taking time to discover it.

The 3D tool for working in 2D was displayed in the Adobe MAX this year in San Diego, and promised amazing images photorealistic that are simpler than ever to create them.

Now designers can find out for themselves what is Project Felix capable of, as the public beta of this fascinating program is already available. The app has a Photoshop-like interface that allows the creation of product images, scene visualizations and abstract art with 2D and 3D assets, without the need for any special knowledge of any type of 3D software.

Users can work with 3D models, materials, lights and background images licensed from Adobe Stock's own 3D asset market, or import their own from the desktop or through CC libraries to create complete scenes. Felix's controls and tools allow customize specific properties as are the materials, the perfect lighting and the adjustment of the camera angles.

This program makes use of an advanced algorithm called as "Machine learning" called Adobe Sensei, which ensures lighting angles and corrections to be perfectly aligned in perspective. Real-time rendering through the V-Ray engine allows the user to preview the work while editing and before exporting the work to Photoshop to complete the design.
