Adobe Announces Creative Cloud Programs Won't Update on Windows 7

Windows 7

You know, if you have a Windows 7 computer and you are used to using Creative Cloud programs, like Photoshop or Illustrator, you should know that Adobe has just announced that they will not be updated under that edition of the OS designed and released by Microsoft.

An edition of Windows that little by little it is relegated to the background, even without security patches and updates from Microsoft. And it is that already for a while Windows 7 seems doomed to the complete disappearance; at least on the part of those who maintain it.

There are still millions of users who use Windows 7, so even though you are companies stop updating programs and the system, many users will continue to have it installed.

Photoshop CC

We have also known very recently that Adobe will not update Photoshop and other Creative Cloud programs from a specific version of Windows 10. This is due to security problems and the low profitability that supposes to update programs in versions of Windows a little old; although they are not obsolete at all.

Of course, we have to say that you can still having old versions of Photoshop installed, Illustrator and more, the only thing that will not work will be Adobe Creative Cloud and receiving new updates. It will depend on how demanding you are when designing, the prevailing need to have the latest version of Photoshop and those Adobe CC programs.

For normal editing use it is more than enough, although we can always relegate Affinity with programs as Affinity Photo and Designer. I mean, we're really talking about what Creative Cloud CC will become a suite of programs based on Windows 10. If you want to have these well-known programs updated with their most important news, you know, you are in time to switch to Windows 10 from Windows 7.
