The finalists to become Mozilla's new logo

Mozilla logo

Mozilla has put the batteries and has devised a project with which you want to totally change your brand. This means that the image, the logo design, graphics or, even, the corporate colors will be transformed to give this company a reason for being.

The most interesting thing about this initiative is that it has asked help from the community of users to evaluate each process of the selection of what all that change will be. It is for this very reason that he opened a blog where he has poured all the ideas and reflections on the Mozilla brand, since in this way it can be devised what the new logo could be.

But the most interesting thing about this proposal is the selection of the new Mozilla logo. For this, the collaboration of Johnson Banks, an agency specialized in design and visual identity, has been requested. From here seven logos emerged that express to all what Mozilla can be in general terms.

Where can we collaborate ourselves? Simple: leaving an opinion or comment in each of the logos to give feedback to Mozilla. That said, Mozilla mentions that the final decision on the selection of the logo will be their own, so this initiative is more for a feedback they want to get from the community.

The questions that Mozilla also chooses are some such as: Which of these visual expressions best captures what Mozilla means to you? o Which one best tells the Mozilla story to users?

During the two weeks, these links will be available to receive the feedback so, finally, to have three candidates. These last three will go through a testing phase with users so that, at the end of September, we have the winner.

Any favorite? I stay «protocol» (last of the image)

Do not forget to pass for this logo change from a famous radio.

The "protocol" is the only one that seems acceptable to me. The rest are grotesque to me and even some of bad aesthetic taste ...

Although they are initial sketches, none of the logos convinces me. I don't see a good result for this Mozilla "community project".

The truth is that none has just convinced me, the 4 is too similar to Moz, I would stick with Wireframe.
